Protecting the privacy of users of (the “Site”) is important to us. This privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”) sets out the general terms by which the Company collects, stores and discloses personal information on this Site. From time to time, Company may modify this Online Privacy Policy without prior notice to you. This Privacy Policy should be read together with the terms of use of this Site appearing on the Site, as they are both applicable to our relationship with you.

  1. You are Free to Supply or Not Supply Personal Information

The only information we collect about you on this Site is information that you voluntarily provide to Company. The information that we normally request (being “Merchant Data”) is: name of your current processor, monthly processing volume, average transaction size, percentage of in-person, online, phone and mail authorizations, business category, preferred method of processing, whether or not you accept chip and pin cards, the type of POS terminal you require, name, mailing address, email address, phone number and which amongst our Bids you find to be best for you. Merchant Data that you choose to provide shall be collected, stored by us for the following purposes:

1.1 To select from amongst our Processors (all of which are identified on the home page of the Site), which are suitable to provide a merchant account to your business;

1.2 Using Processor pricing and underwriting criteria, present bids to you, being summaries of key pricing terms that they may be able to offer you subject to their underwriting criteria;

1.3 Following your selection of a bid that you believe is best for you, soliciting your account on behalf of a Processor that is likely able to provide a merchant account on terms that are consistent with the bid you have selected; 1.4 Respond to your request for information or documentation;

1.5 Assist in completing an application for merchant services or other services for your business for submission to a Processor; and

1.6 Combat fraud, money laundering and the funding of terrorism.

  1. Browsing Only

Like most standard web site servers we use log files. This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information unless you instruct us to complete an application for services from one of our Processors in which case we will log your IP address together with other information submitted on such an application form. This Site may use cookies or web beacons solely to aggregate information about the pages users visit so we can update and redesign, as necessary, our Site.

From time to time, however, we may disclose this information to fulfill legal or regulatory obligations or if we determine such disclosure is legally advisable or necessary to protect our rights and the rights of others, or to prevent harm. In addition, we may aggregate data about users of our site and use it for statistical purposes.

We take every precaution to protect your information. When users submit sensitive information via the Site, their information is protected both online and off-line. Only employees or consultants, if any, who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information. Our employees and consultants, if any, must use password-protected screen-savers when they leave their Company portal. When they return, they must re-enter their password to re-gain access to user information. Furthermore, all employees and consultants, if any, are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. As well, any time new policies are added, our employees and consultants, if any, are notified and/or reminded about the importance we place on privacy, and what they can do to ensure our users’ information is protected. Finally, the servers that store personally identifiable information are in a secure environment, in a locked facility. Company may disclose personal information collected online to our affiliates and to Processors who assist us with obtaining or supplying services to you that you have requested. In some cases, this may require your information to be sent to other countries. You may not use this Site if you are not of the age of majority in the district where you reside or of you are under 18 years of age. This Site offers products and services to businesses only and not to individual consumers. You may not use this Site as an individual consumer.

You further acknowledge, and agree that Company, its officers, directors, employees, affiliates nor any other representatives shall not be held responsible, or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage, or loss caused, or alleged to be caused, by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods and services available on or through any such linked sites.
